Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information ToolFerry collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to toolferry.online and all of its tools and guides.

Browser-based processing

The tools on ToolFerry — including the password generator, QR code generator, image compressor, percentage calculator, text case converter, and remove-extra-spaces utility — run entirely inside your web browser. The text you paste, the images you drop in, and the passwords or QR codes you generate stay on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers.

Information we collect

We keep the data we collect to the minimum needed to operate the site:

• Preferences. We use localStorage to remember your theme choice (light or dark) and your cookie-consent decision. This information never leaves your browser.
• Basic server logs. Our hosting provider may automatically log standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and referring page for security and reliability.
• Contact messages. If you email us, we retain your message and email address so we can respond.

Cookies and analytics

We group storage into three categories: Essential (required to run the site, such as remembering your theme and your cookie choice), Analytics (privacy-friendly, aggregated usage statistics — currently not active), and Advertising (used by ad networks — currently not active). On your first visit we show a consent banner with three choices: Accept All, Reject Non-Essential, or Manage Preferences. Your decision is stored in your browser and remembered on future visits. You can change it at any time via the Cookie Preferences link in the footer. We do not load analytics or advertising scripts until you consent, and we will never build cross-site profiles or sell your data.

Advertising (future)

ToolFerry does not currently show third-party advertisements. If we introduce advertising in future, we will update this policy in advance, disclose the ad networks in use, and provide any required consent controls. Advertisements will never be permitted to compromise the privacy of content processed inside our tools.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with service providers (such as our hosting provider) strictly as needed to run the site, or when required by law.

Children

ToolFerry is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

You can clear locally stored preferences at any time via your browser settings. To request access to or deletion of any personal information you have sent us by email, contact toolferry098@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
